This was a team project from 2015, but for the first time I wasn't working with digital games, instead we were working on a board game.

Together we went through the process of generating and selecting ideas using different methods. After the choice was set, I started working on the game and level design. It was interesting to go back and forth along with teammates, teachers and students to find an optimal game duration and difficulty. We crafted a cheap prototype to iterate and adjust the questions and amount of spaces to complete a round as well as the number of action cards versus question cards, or even modify, add, or remove actions from the deck.

Throughout my leadership on this project I was responsible for managing the team, pitching the game to different audiences (including pitching it in the symposium), designing, playtesting, gathering and applying player and teachers feedback, and guiding the art team to get to the desired aesthetics.

After we arrived at the best results and players were engaged and absorbing the information provided in the game, we moved forward and we worked on a polished prototype to present the game at the symposium along with the article written by me and another member of the team.
